Nicholas Harding-Smith

Alto 2026 –

I am very excited to start my first year as a Modern and Medieval Languages student at St John's College. I come from Chelmsford in Essex and have been immersed in choral music for over half of my life.

Favourite music outside of the choral world?

I have a lot of nostalgia listening to the hits of David Bowie, specifically Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes.

What do you like to do aside from singing?

I really like watching all kinds of films. From The Godfather to Shrek 2, Ferris Bueller's Day Off to E.T., I love watching movies with friends and family.

What are you most looking forward to this year?

I am really looking forward to the entire Christmas season in the choir, especially with The Gents' Yuletide performance at the Maypole pub.
