Sebastian Evans

Tenor 2026 –

I am a Choral Graduate at St John's College and am one of the incoming freshers this year. Prior to this I was a music undergraduate and choral scholar at The Queen's College, Oxford. During my three years at Oxford, I also undertook a Choral Scholarship at the University Church and participated in the University's chamber choir (Schola Cantorum) in my first year. I participated in four Operas whilst at Oxford, perhaps most memorably being cast as Mr Ford in New Chamber Opera's production of Salieri's Falstaff. 

Favourite piece of choral music?

Either Nigra Sum by Jean L’Héritier or All Shall Be Well by Joanna Marsh

What do you enjoy beyond singing?

Running far, not particularly quickly.
