Baritone 2023 -
I am a 3rd-year Engineering student from London, specialising in statistical inference and stochastic processes. Beyond SJCC, I have enjoyed getting stuck into Cambridge’s rich music scene, giving recitals, performing in operas, and as a finalist in the 2024 Clare Song Competition. When not singing or in the lab, I enjoys repairing vintage watches, high fantasy novels, and a relaxing row on the Cam.
Most memorable performance with SJCC?
Visit of the Papal Nuncio to the UK in my first month in Cambridge. We performed James MacMillan’s Christus Vincit, which includes a stunning final treble solo. At that point, it finally clicked exactly how special this place was.
Favourite arrangements we sing in The Gents?
“Jingle Bells”, as an encore in the Concertgebouw, Elbphilharmonie et al!
